New Year’s Resolution list: What ranks first on your list?

Another year has come to an end and it’s time to reflect on our achievements and developments for the year that has gone by, as well as for the new one to come. It doesn’t have to be a long list but I am sure each and everyone of us has something to add on. What went as planned? What went better or worse? How can we improve things going forward? How can we further develop? What can get us closer to our targets?

As we march forward into a New Year, it is a good time to make a meaningful conversation with ourselves about our personal and professional goals. We all have things we want to achieve and adding some time frames and deadlines can help us to accomplish these faster.

Some ideas for your New Year’s Resolution list:

  • Read more books
  • Change job
  • Go to the gym for the next 6 months
  • Spend more time with family
  • Switch to a new business strategy
  • Organise a long awaited trip
  • Start a new activity/sport
  • Register for a course
  • Hire new people for your team
  • Lose weight
  • Improve a skill
  • Get a promotion
  • Engage in charity work

It is important to set realistic goals for which we have all the means needed to achieve them within the set time frame. Don’t overdo it with a long list as this can be confusing and will not allow you to focus on your top priorities. Keep your targets simple and clear!

Welcome the New Year with new goals or a new you! Have a lovely, healthy and prosperous one!
